Touring
Barlows Cycles is situated on Route 3 of the National Cycle Network. As part of a cycle holiday taking in the sights of Cornwall, the St Austell area has a great deal to offer. To the north, the Clay areas provide a dramatic mixture of natural and industrial landscape, full of the history of Cornwall's mining past, with evidence of the more environmentally aware current workings. To the south, miles and miles of unspoiled coastline is a combination of sandy beaches, ancient fishing ports and secret wooded coves used by smugglers for centuries.
Local major attractions include the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Cornwall's China Clay Museum, and Charlestown Harbour. Many smaller attractions can be found via the local Tourist Information Centre, which is also close to Route 3.
Barlows has been in touch with local B&B's and guesthouses.
